The Joewell Convex designed to maximize performance. This custom engineered blade configuration system adds another dimension of cutting power to the Joewell concept.

Handles come in three designs.

Opposing - The oldest design, ideal for stylists who cut with their middle finger and thumb. Ideal for lefties who use right-handed shears.

Offset - A newer handle design for stylists who use the ring finger to hold the shear. The shorter thumb handle reduces over-extension of the thumb. This design allows you to cut with a more open hand.

Crane - This modern and ergonomically healthy design offers more benefits. It is offset to open the hand and angled to drop the elbow position. This design relives stress on both the shoulder and wrist for stylists who use the classic palm-to-palm cutting technique.

 

Tension system come in three designs

Flat Screw System – Joewell’s original anti-loosening design, super hard screw keeps the scissors opening and closing smoothly. Groove of the flat screw will ensure that the scissors does not work loose and therefore the "Edge" of the blades will stay sharper longer because of its smooth action.

Adjustable Screw System - Tension Adjustable Screw is a sophisticated tool by its own. It sets, controls, and stabilizes the tension at all time with exact accuracy.

Dry Bearing System - The solid lubricated pivot point and the dry bearing are made of resin. The features are light, smooth opening/closing operation, maintenance free, lightweight and thin body.
